Anyone been contacted by RCB Management?

I was contacted today by a cold caller claiming to be from RCB Management. They are apparently a management company who have approved building traders, i.e. joiners tilers etc., that cover designated areas/postcodes, doing domestic and commercial work. They charge a one off fee of £199.00 and guarantee at least 3 jobs per month, and no other traders of the same profession in the same area. They claim to be part of Port of Tradesmen Quota.
I've Googled and can't find any website, forum info or feedback, positive or negative. Perhaps they're new, or more thieving pirates.
Anyone any info?

how could they guarantee 3 jobs a month? i get one or two of these every now and then different names etc but they seem to be reading the same script i normally say let me have it for the year and if i get what you are promising ill pay you double its amazing how fast they give up!

I suspected so myself. She phoned again today, I asked if there was a website, and she said it was tradesmenquoter.co.uk. I hadn't heard of it before. It's not something I'm considering, but was curious to know if anyone had had any dealings with them. I've googled them and can't find any negative info.

What does this mean??? I found this or something very similar on a site with a guy suing over spam emails.

It's the legal ownership of the domain name http://www----.tradesmenquoter---.co.ukbbbbbbbbbb

These are the things to take note of
1) the domain was registered in an individuals name and not a company, that isn't that bad as he could have registered it when it was just an idea.
2) I also can't find any mention of a limited company name of the website.
3) the website lists a mobile number, again not a crime but is the sign of a small company not a large national that they are trying to portray themselves as
4) They claim to have 100,000 registered tradesmen on their books! 100k and nobody has heard of them!😛rrr: MyBuilder which is one of the largest out there only has 40k.
5) they say they get 500 enquires a day, so split that over the 100k members, now work how many enquires are you going to get from that.

They are misleading people and clearly do not have a way with figures or the wouldn't mention 100k members and 500 enquires together on the same page

For the record IMO they get something like 1 enquire a day and have 100 members maybe. From the little I can find out they don't stack up so I would avoid

Just took a closer look agiain. They have 15 members so far (look at the site map page)
On that same page go to the News section - this is their only entry

This is typical of some one testing the website software, now look at the date and also look at the date of when the members signed up - all within the last 2 weeks. Which suggests the site has been live for about that time and so far he has conviced 15 people to sign up, how nice just before christmas

And this is so ironic!!! They will also get back any unfair credit card and bank charges for you, these people take the biscuit, rob you from one hand and pretend to be against unfair practices in the other
