Very good now if they did a follow up showing prep for tiling that would be great

You get a job on anhydrite and I'll come and video it. You could be a film star.....

I have just had a short meeting with the Kerakoll rep ( Bill Harrison) about this H40 Ideal, this is the one they same can go direct onto Anhydrite screeds without primers. I have a few samples of other adhesives too which wil be good to try out.
Price wise it all seems pretty good although you have to buy minimum half a pallet ( 20 Bags).

Obviously they are comfortabl with no primer. I have always been realy nervous of this personally because the screed generall has a high surface porosity and as it shoul be very dry before tiling I always worry about the risk of suction into the screed killing the addy before it sets. However that said I have seen it used both with an without primer and have sen jnust one failure to date. That failue was because he screed was tiled 4 or days after installation sofully explainable. Let us know when you have a go with it and what you think.

The trouble is that how do you know if its any good on these screeds....you use the adhesive and then what ?
I can only respond to how the adhesive feels while in use.

Realistically though you could say that about any adhesive. In fact most tilers use standard portland cement adhesives and these are clearly a potential issue. I kerakoll are confident enough to say it then fair enough. Bear in mind of course that at least they have a track record and they are a large company so can back up any issues they have both financially and tecnically.

Fully understand what you are saying, when i spoke to the rep he filled me in on the background of Kerakoll as a business and very interesting it was. What i mean about testing it is how would i know it was up to what they say or not ? Obviously if i had a failure then its not but if it works then how long do you wait too say its a success ?
For me i would put faith in them and try it.
