Had a much better day today!

Job already for Whitebeam tomorrow and managed to get 4 steels in on my roof this afternoon

On the electric side of things though, rubbish! EDF sent 2 enigineers in 2 vans who sat outside for 3 hours :yikes: and did sweet --.

When i got home i asked them how it was going and were they actually going to do any work? This went down well as you can imagine 😳

They said the were waiting for the "Digging team" as they were the fixers and dont do digging.

They were eventually allocated to another job and will be back tomorrow, meanwhile we still have this genhy on the drive droning on and on and on. Its starting to really irritate me :ban:

So why did they bother to turn up anyway if the digging team were somewhere else:rockstar:

No idea, they were waiting for them, they probably did turn up but as they were ASLEEP for 2 of the hours they were here they probably didnt want to disturb them.

I was up stoke rd yesterday am scott and saw an edf lorry and some vans, that must be some block of flats your building under that tarp:lol:

We have power!

Also a hole and a pile of crazy paving that they took up dumped in a pile. They left sand and mess everywehere outside the house. I know its a building site but its a CLEAN building site! They even left the old wooden drum of cable of the path.

I phoned and complained only to be told that aside from the mess and cable they dont fill the holes.....wait for it.....

Thats carried out by.....

THE BACK FILLING TEAM!

OMG can it get any worse???

Oh and the genny is still here as they have a genny team too :yikes:

EDF? :ban::ban::ban::ban::ban:

sounds the same as when they were renewing mains cabling round here , it is a quiet 10 house narrow roaded culdesac , the works went on for nearly 3 months , they dug it up and went , they came and tried to cable it but couldnt work out where it was getting fed from :yikes: , then they worked that out for 6 out of 10 houses , they dug a hole in my garage which they didnt need to !! , they then cabled it , then they finally filled it :mad2: :mad2: :mad2:

we had the same with the water main on the house im doing

one crew to put up the road signs
one crew to dig out
one crew to do the work

then the same again

6 people total work time
