Hi all i am looking for some advice on the best adhesive to use on a floor which has a water fed underfloor heating system.
The total area is 150m but this is divided into 4 separate areas so is not one big area.

Customer has been advised to use a 2 part adhesive but I am wondering if this is absolutely necessary? Any advice much appreciated.

Is it a screed floor? As long as you use uncoupling mat a cement based flexible adhesive is fine.

the system is laid into some kind of pre-moulded blocks and I was wondering whether these would therefore eliminate the matting? If not any advice on the cheapest place to buy the matting as i've just had a quote of £1500 for 150m.

Thanks you

After the pipe work was laid did they lay a screed over them?

No matter what you will need uncoupling mat, too much movement in stone with heat, I buy 30 metre rolls from my local CTD for £200 is there one near you?

yes I use CTD also....thank you. Would you say screeding prior to matting is absolutely necessary? Usual scenario where the money is running out towards the end of the job but I just want to make sure its right.

Never seen this pre formed block thing so if you think they are stable enough prime and cement based flexi adhesive matting down, if not slc then matting
