Can we make this forum better for you?

There's no doubt about it, this forum is a bit quieter than it has been in the past. Though it wont get better if we don't talk about it. We could do with a few heads putting together, in a not-so-cliquey way, to shape it to what we want it to be for the tile industry as a whole. So I'll...

    Can this be done better/differently?

Hello, I’m looking for a professional opinion on whether a better tiling result could be achieved. We’ve just had new large format porcelain tiles laid in a bathroom and the feedback from the builders was that they were incredibly hard and chipped easily, even when cut with a diamond saw. They...

Is this a bad tiling job?

Hi guys, I’m new here. I’m a landlord and I have been in the process of getting some work done at a property. One of the jobs was a new kitchen with a tile splash back. I opted this time to go for a higher end price for the full kitchen job, so my expectations were high. I don’t know whether to...

Can I recover from this unbelievable mistake

I set my first row of tiles on a level batten measured the center of the room on a wall with a large range and metal splash back. Will this job look ok once grouted or do I need to ask for it to be redone?

In the middle of getting my bathroom done and took a closer look today. The sloped ceiling cuts are not even, and then all of the corner cuts are also uneven. We are planning a grey grout so I am concerned it will look a mess once done. Do you think it will look ok, or should I get it redone?
