coverage
In computer science, test coverage is a measure (in percent) of the degree to which the source code of a program is executed when a particular test suite is run. A program with high test coverage has more of its source code executed during testing, which suggests it has a lower chance of containing undetected software bugs compared to a program with low test coverage. Many different metrics can be used to calculate test coverage. Some of the most basic are the percentage of program subroutines and the percentage of program statements called during execution of the test suite.
Test coverage was among the first methods invented for systematic software testing. The first published reference was by Miller and Maloney in Communications of the ACM, in 1963.
I’m just about to install 12.5mm Hardiebacker boards in my 3-wall en suite shower and I’m just wonder how I should fill and seal the joints with the existing ceiling (believe it is just plasterboard and painted).
What should I use for filler? Tile adhesive and then tape the joints as normal...
Hi
I layed 4 tiles for a customer in a front door entrance. The customer then wanted me to rip up the carpet and tile the whole hallway in the same tiles. This meant taking up the tiles I layed. They came up with no difficulty and saw there was pretty good coverage in under most of the tiles imo...
Hi all.
I've seen a fair share of very dodgy siliconing around the frames of shower doors.
The installation instructions for my shower door state that you should not seal the inside of the frames, only the outside. This make sense to me.
But in reality, what does it mean?
Do you dry fit the...

So I had to seal some slate the other week which I did with a paint brush. Just wondered if there was a better method? (I used the Tile Rite stone sealer) and applied 2 coats and then tested with a whiteboard marker on a spare off cut.
Hi
Could anyone recommend the best sealant to seal these tiles please?
We’ve finally got our shower up and running but water is getting through some of the grout joints on our tiles, so I’m hoping i can give them a seal?
Any advice or suggestions I would be greatly thankful for
Cheers

We have just had encaustic tiles laid in our bathroom including wetroom style walk in shower.
They were laid over a new floor (extended bathroom) which then had a layer of hardiebacker cement board on top screwed down all over it. The tiles have been...
Hello
From this forum I understand that I need to seal before jointing and understand that I need a combined impregnator and sealer.
My intention is to colour enhance the stone to get it back to black. I have come down to a choice between 2 products:

Miracle 511...

Kerakoll say that there 25kg bag will do 7.5 M2 on a 10mm trowel.
Just wondered if anyone has had the opportunity to put this to the test.
Im laying 600x400x15 Jura Beige honed tiles on my kitchen floor, and have received conflicting advice!

A builder friend advised to seal the front and back before installation which I’ve been diligently doing...
Good day everyone!
I had a granite company do a supply and install of flamed granite in a public walkway, inside. The grout was smeared across the flamed grout, and was difficult to remove, but most of it i was able to remove with just simple soap and water(mostly water) and those steel scrub...

Any ideas on sealants would also be welcome.

Hello,
I'm a novice to tiling and I'm looking for some advice on a problem I'm having.
I'm trying to tackle some old grouting and sealant in my bathroom that has gone mouldy. Tried covering it up with some grout and silicon replenisher type product from Unibond, which has worked in parts but...

Hi,
First post here. My name is Graham and I'm widening my DIY skills on my house in Kent.
I have tiled the kitchen walls with a mirrored Quartz tile from a popular tile chain. I bought the adhesive and grout from them as they recommended. We have since decided to replace the slate floor tiles...
Done a feature wall in split face, customer was dead happy with it. I've sealed it using fila pt10 wet look colour enhancer, which is the look he wanted. Any way he calls me up saying it's gone much lighter and the colour isn't as dark now. This is I've a week later. I'm thinking of getting some...
I intend to tank plasterboard with mapei mapgum (or similar) and tape the joints as shown in this video below. It also shows the tape being bonded to the tray surface then tiled afterwards. Taking into account the thickness of tile and adhesive (which should obscure the joint) there would be...

Just wondering if anyone else who's worked with Original Style might be able to advise. I've tiled a floor with their "black" and "white" encaustic 6" tiles and have sealed with Universeal All-in-one sealant. Went back today to grout but was getting some staining on the white tiles (cast iron...
