coverage
In computer science, test coverage is a measure (in percent) of the degree to which the source code of a program is executed when a particular test suite is run. A program with high test coverage has more of its source code executed during testing, which suggests it has a lower chance of containing undetected software bugs compared to a program with low test coverage. Many different metrics can be used to calculate test coverage. Some of the most basic are the percentage of program subroutines and the percentage of program statements called during execution of the test suite.
Test coverage was among the first methods invented for systematic software testing. The first published reference was by Miller and Maloney in Communications of the ACM, in 1963.

"Sealing" with PVA before tiling - DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME by Dan posted Feb 7, 2017 at 10:14 PM
Not sure how to work this forum, will this work?
Old but comedy gold.
it's a topic that has cropped up before but I don't think a definitive outcome came from it. What is your method to ensure the best possible seal to a white shower tray when your tanking the walls?

We have had 4 square meters of polished porcelain tiles laid in our bathroom. These ones from Homebase. The Website says they need sealing so I bought some LTP MPG sealer and applied it as per the instructions. When buffing, the surface turns to greasy, smeary mess - the transit wax problem?

I have some 100mm sq limestone tiles that are being fixed in my bathroom and need to seal them prior to them being fitted. I have some boiled linseed oil left over from an old job a good few years back which involved sealing some terracotta tiles. Is this oil ok for limestone, I tried a sample...
Sorry if this is the incorrect forum for this question. I've searched everywhere and can't find an answer for this.

Does anyone know of a formula that will calculate how much adhesive is needed for given trowel notch sizes?
If a 20kg bag of cement based adhesive does about 4.5m2 (10mm trowel) then, how far would it have gone using a 3mm mosaic trowel?
There's formulas for grout coverage however, I...
I have some nice travertine to fix soon.
I was wondering what sealers everyone is using at the moment. I was thinking a nice satin sealer or a matt as the client wishes however I would like your opinions on brands and the actual look of the satin sealer once applied.
Thanks peeps

Does it need sealing, the customer got them from Topps and said they need sealing and supplied Slate sealer, did'nt think Quartzite was a slate as they are from India.
