I charge for replacing tiles in the middle of the floor or wall, between 20 and 60 per tile.

For the rest, it's about 200 by day. If the customer is on budget and happy with poor quality, then there will result in more sqm by day, by the contrary, top quality fewer sqm by day... It's simple.

Why would you ever skimp on quality for the sake of saving the customer a few quid? I understand it can be difficult to turn work down if you're quiet, but surely if you cut your quality, you cut your reputation and build a rod for your own back?

i Just can’t understand guys charging £40 a sqm or £150-160 a day rate seems like your shooting yourself in the foot there

And for the fiddly jobs and prep work try and get £200 a day
