When pricing a bathroom with 'average' tiles, say a porcelain that's not too big or something like that, do you base your prices on per meter plus materials, or on how many days plus materials, or a combo of both?
What's your average per m2 price for bathrooms with average tiles ?
Same price for all my customers, prince or pauper. The lowest I would go is £20 per sq metre. Labour only.
15 a metre if it was a large job. i.e over a 1oom2 again labour only.
Higher end fits £30-£45, i.e porcelanosa or natural stone etc.
I find most jobs I feel I have over priced, I usually get. most jobs I walk away from thinking I have underpriced I never hear back from?!?!? weird!
Lastly and most importantly..... if I walk into a council scheme, cheapish tiles,-compared to glasgows west end, newton mearns, bearsden etc the price differs massively. I cant and wont! charge wee davie from drumchapel the same price as I would charge "Alan salt" of newton mearns estate with a million pound plus house and 400-500k of cars on the driveway . Big aldo spends 2ok+ on a bathroom, unfortunately big aldo qualifies for "Newton Mearns tax". Even more importantly. big aldo knows 3-400 quid saved here and there is **** all, compared to a job done right that is going to last 10 plus years and give him no problems or one that needs to be totally stripped and redone.
Same here, one price for all. You can either afford it or you can't!Same price for all my customers, prince or pauper.
