Average Bathroom Pricing

When pricing a bathroom with 'average' tiles, say a porcelain that's not too big or something like that, do you base your prices on per meter plus materials, or on how many days plus materials, or a combo of both?

I try to estimate how long it will take me, choose my day rate plus mats. Only time I price per m2 is large floors.

I always look at it from the point of view that I need to make X amount of pounds per day minimum, so if I can achieve that comfortably on a per metre rate then fine, if not then I price it by day and if it's going to be tight on price then I'll be happy to make up X from hidden profit on materials rather than maybe loose the job because someone thinks I want too much for a day rate

I'm the same, I try and work out how long a job will take and go from there.

Tend to work out on a day rate, to many small areas to measure up.

Prep on day work
