ASET level 1 national award in wall tiling skills

Hi all, been long time since posting, just need your advise on ASET level 1 national award in wall tiling skills, is it recognised anywhere or does it have an equivilent such as nvq level 1.

whats NVQ !! and who are ' THE INDUSTRY ' hhaaa timeserved.. its the only credible qualification, if you're no good, you can't earn long term !

How would I know m8 they are nothing to do with me. All I know is Some of these so called qualifications are only designed to be a taster an introduction in to tiling.
They are nothing more than the bare bones the absolute minimum. Most of them are aimed at pre 16 learners that have low academic skills. These entry level quals are designed to be easily achievable and to give the learner a boost of confidence. Most of them are not assessed to industry standards and the tolerances may as well not exist. IMHO
