condensation in back of vans?

This was slightly discussed in another of my posts last night so here goe to the wider forum.
I have a 07 Renault traffic,great van but as the cold weather comes so too does the condensation build up on the roof in the back,i have a bulkhead so no heat really gets in there.Anyone else have these problems?There is no roof covering so its sprayed sheet metal,not good for tools sitting in there.Any ideas folks?? could someone have a remedy??? a few of us could do with one i'm sure.

Got an 05 Trafic............can't say I have noticed a condensation problem......I'll double check in the morning mind.

I might look in to the idea of a small heater in the back while i drive,i could hook it up to the 12v outlet maybe.Possible?

Got the same problem with my LDV pilot, though nothing compared to the 1 inch of water I get in the drivers footwell everytime it rains.

Not sure a heater would help. If you think about it the inside of your windows mist up on a cold night so condensation will form on any cold hard surface. Don't know if any body does a kit or can suggest some sort of insulation that you could apply to the inside of the roof.

buckets lying in there with drops of water don't help our situations either!i'm more concerned about my expensive kango,drills etc.not good for them.
Anyone drive a transporter? i just wonder if they are better????? my next van possibly.......:drool5:

Expanded polystyrene is somethink I've seen before, thinstuff on a roll and a vinyl spray to hold it there
