what size grout lines for floors ?

Depends on a few variables really. BS states minimum 3mm grout joints for floors. You can use any size you want I always left it to the customer 5mm is a fairly standard size as well down to the size of tile the type of tile and the colour of the joint at the end of the day IMO

id go for a 5mm myself but depends on the type of tile etc

personally cant get better than the commentators eye level for grout lines

9 times out of 10 i always used 5mm spacers

On very rare occasions used 3mm

Standard tiles i use 5mm.
Rectified polished porcelain then 2 or 3mm depending on the floor level. Usually 3mm and a SLC down before hand.

i always ask the customer what size but if they leave it to me i use a 5mm spacer

3mm for me too unless its uncalibrated then make them bigger and judge by eye (wide joint grout)
