growing up, mine was glame rock Gglitter, slade, Trex,that was early teens then northern soul at wigan casino then later really impressed the girls with the dancing when disco/jazz funk came out we could already dance when most White peeps could-not, what was your memos :thumbsup:

I guess i was a bit perculiar in my musical youth cos I was (and still am) into the beatles, donovan and the like. I guess it was cos I could play along to it on my guitar. Couldn't even begin to say who my favorites are now cos my tastes run from Gilbert and Sullivan and weber and rice through to the ting tings.

First record I ever bought was Beatles White Album. First song I ever had as a recording was on a reel to reel tape recorder I got for my 7th or 8th birthday which was Elvis Presley in the Ghetto and the same tape had Misty by Glen Cambell on it. I still sing along with both when I hear them.....
