Hi Lads,

Been looking at this forum all day, there's so much info on wetrooms here, it's a full time job trying to get through it...great resource though!

I was looking at installing a devimat over a tilesafe tanking kit / impey shower former and stumbled across these low profile water based systems:

Can you tell me how you would tank a water based, low profile under floor heating system like these?? Would you install them over the tanking or under?

24mm, and the one you mentioned:

Also,

Can you tell me the correct way to attach aquapanels, wediboards to block wall....

Do i need to install battens (if so what size), can i just srew it on? Do i need to bed it in some type of adhesive?

What is the minimum depth board to use both on battens and on stud walls?

Thanks,
James.

Fix your wetroom tray directly to the joists, it will not need under boarding as the Tuff2 tray has great strength.

Lay your wet floor heating which will then need an uncoupling mat laid over it before tiling to take up any latteral movement and prevent tile cracking. Continue the membrane over the former if possible.

Use bog standard 12.5mm plasterboard on the walls before tanking with the wall tanking kit to make it 100% waterproof.
