Anyone out there who could give some advice.Looking at a job 89 sq mtrs on a salon floor which is currently covered by lino fairly level. The lady wants 600x600 shiny non slip tiles!!! I have been to many tile shops and not really getting much luck. The job needs to be done over the weekend after closing and worried about the rush. Prob need 2 teams.
I have read everything about travertine. I am normally doing domestic and this would be the first commercial which could be critical to me.

welcome to the forum
what exactly do you want advice with, is it finding the right tiles? if you have a full weekend to do the job i would of thought 2 tilers and a decent labourer would easily get it done

it was more about the non slip shiny tiles cos each tiling shop I have been in has said that it doesnt exist and I am thinking more about risk to the customers prob when I shouldnt be. Then there is the issue of bleaches etc on porceline and the effects on the grout cos I suppose its bound to happen

ive done a job today on speckeld 12 x12 white / cream tiles, anti slip. the customer has bought them from tile giant , tiles were nice to to fit and easy to nip, have alook on there website ive fitted 25 meters on my own today

these were called amore and were porcelline bought from tile giant on line

some porcelain lappato is r10 slip rated this is fine for use in a wet room so would work well in the hair dressing salon

I wouldn't use travertine in a salon though. High heels will "pit" the tiles and thats before you take into account the chemicals and stuff they use daily.

Shiney but non slip. Bet she wants big, but quite small tiles. White, but mostly dark. And wash it down with chickens teeth broth.
