Tiles Curled???

Alan I Think there tiles are the resin type, I have heard of this curling before. Moisture ingress in tile perhaps:thumbsup:


Not convinced by the moisture angle really as I did some spot checks with a moisture meter and could not get a reading. I would expect if it was moisture related I would get a reading.
 
😳I just finished a job in these, 300x300 on electric mat. Hope its OK didn't know about the heat issues:yikes:
 
would these type of tiles be covered in BS 5385 part 5 - i.e. agglomerated stone tiles.

I did the same about 18mths ago. Not heard anything from customer about it and was there last month tiling a step for them.
 
I just looked on the B&Q website (of all places :lol🙂

All of their conglomerated tiles do say they are not suitable for underfloor heating. Don't think these came from B&Q but they look very similar so looks like Dave's the man again and I can point the customer in that direction.....the unsuitability for UFH not to B&Q.......
 
It's a shame the tiler was not informed in the first place...

I still think they should involve the tile supplier.
