Alot more mobile cheers mate but the sciatica remains which is worrying and I'm off work for another month.

The surgeon told me all the gruesome details of my surgery on Friday. Turns out he literally had to peel my sciatic nerve off of my disc & vertebrae. He said he was seriously concerned at one point he would have to stop the surgery or risk cutting the nerve which would have meant virtually no feeling in my right leg for rest of my life! Luckily he persisted, kept washing it and gently teased it off the disc which he then cut right back. Took him an hour and a half longer than expected. But this means it's possible the sciatica will be for life as the nerve could be permanently damaged when it was stuck on the disc for months.
But chin up & keep smiling 😀
