The new Kerdi boards - anyone using them?

Has anyone on this forum been using the Kerdi boards yet? Just interested in your comments / comparisons.

not tried them yet and have not seen any technical data on them,are they similar to wedi boards or are they more of a hardibacker type of board?

Yes Gary, extruded foam core board.
Yes more expensive than other boards for sure!

foam core covered in kerdi material expensive, not used it myself but went to a demo on it a while back. lots of ancillaries to go with it too..

Kerdi board is about 40% more than Wedi. I think Wedi is a better board all-around. I'm not sure what the advantage is to Kerdi board other than its availability (Wedi is hard to find here whereas many tile stores are supposedly going to start stocking Kerdiboard).
