Yeah probably leave it on it will find its way through - not on the glazed one though
But I always sold lithofin Eversheen as an add on to maintain it with. Most of houses had cleaners or bought little Hoover twin disk buffers to maintain it

Maybe fixed 200 Terracotta floors - spot/cleaning refinishing never an issue - efflorescence bane of my life!

Remembering so many jobs I wish I had photographed - but we didnt have digital Cameras in those days - it was 35mm film - and developing was pricy, when you are young man with kids
