i think that sounds fairly good, but to me you have to stop the water getting in in the first place,i dont have a solution to that but i do believe that in the uk much of what is now available is more about revenue than the real solutionSo good or bad then..?..
the problem what is now called tanking in a shower or bath area probably wouldnt prevent this, new builds for a start move or shrink far too much, also floors upstairs are tiled far too early in new builds imo, without the correct precautions but this should not be a tiler responsibility.I just think that something needs to change.....how far this change goes then that will need a lot of work.....we are seeing to many failures of installations in bathrooms etc and peeps claiming on house policies for damaged ceilings/walls due to minor water leaks/penetration...from up-stairs.....
keep the suggestions coming please...they are great...![]()

well at the minute the drying out time is good coz nobody is buying themThen what solution do you think we could have to this..?
Maybe a set time allowing for shrinkage should be enforced in new builds....
anybody else got any ideas on this theory..?..
