tanking kit under shower tray?

Couple of newbie questions

Bought a WP1 Kit

How high should i take it?
Do i need to do the floor under the shower tray?


Also can i tile straight to new plasterboard which is not plastered? If yes what do i prepare it with ?
Been told PVA but know this is a big no no.!

Take the tanking about a 1.5m high.

I would'nt do the floor under the shower tray.

Is the plasterboard within the shower area and what tiles are you going to fix.

Yes plasterboard is in shower area

Cant remember what tiles they are i bought them ages ago and only just getting round to fitting.
I did some research before tho and they are suitable along with the correct grout and ahesives

Is there any special way to seal the shower door area of a "U" shaped enclosure with the tanking kit?

Tile upto the frame then Silicon

mmmm, thats interesting so i actually fit the frame before then tile?
I was going to tile, then fit frame??
Is frame first better?

Do can either really but if your wall where the frame is going to fit is'nt plumb when your've tiled and you fit the frame there will be gaps unless you plumb the tiles as you lay but a powdered adhesive would be required.

Worth checking before you start
