Hello,

I’m looking for some advice please.

Behind the mixer control of my bath there looks to be a small gap between the back of the mixer control and the tile. It looks like it’s as a result of the mixer being installed over two tiles.

The shower head is right above the mixer so I’m concerned water could get behind?

Thanks in advance.

Run some clear silicone between cover plate and tiles.
Leave a small gap at the bottom so any moisture can drain away.

That should get you down the back to get some silicone around the gap..

Looks like a Hansgrohe Shower select.

No issue with sealing it as already mentioned and clear would be the obvious choice. These showers are actually designed to be sealed on the back plate, the chrome fascia simply slides over the top and doesntbusually need sealing.
