Slate lite thin veneer tiles

anyone fixed this type of tile . About 1.5-2mm thick . Looks like real slate on a plastic / resin backing .
Being asked to fix in 1200
X600 format on feature wall in pool house

My local outlet sells it. Apparently it's real slate veneer, never used it but I can see it's uses. I made a thread about it ages ago.

Very interesting product .
If it's flexible and can follow the surface of a wall if it's pretty flat then I could see this product going far .
We'll have to learn how to become vinyl wall tile fixers next.
Not sure about floors .

You can use it on round Collums etc, it's like a sheet of plastic

I had a piece of that in my garage from years ago from CTD.
I'm more than certain it was carcinogenic & had to be avoided.
There was a thread doing the rounds on it years ago also.

I went to Porcelanosa promotion where this product was shown. It is real slate on resin backing. They recoment 2 part addy to fix them.

Ray had a look at this product he sent it of for fire testing at ceram he will tell you all about it once he comes on here but when he looked at it it didn't pass fire safety checks but that was a few years ago
