i have a small amount of runout in my kitchen worktops , i am going to use coloured grout with matching silicone , any thoughts about a min and max width silicone line along a worktop ?

Could you not bed the other end into the wall slightly to close the gap at the run out end

not an ideal scenario but if you have tiled it and are happy to silicone it then i wd advise you to get cornertape..the small one wd be ideal for splashbacks as its minimal however on this occasion i would use medium which is a 6mm tape joint and will give you a thicker but neat joint of silicone to cover the run off

good point mike ,paul is there a part of the worktop which isnt supported properly from underneath you can lift a mm or 2?
