Silicon

Most bathrooms won't take more than a tube of Silicon. If it's two colours Ile charge two tubes. I just wipe the area clean with blue roll then Silicon it. I don't grout corners either. Average bathroom, round shower tray or bath, round floor edge and up each corner. Takes around half hour. I Just work it into the price, usually enough money in the job!

Job I'm at the moment builder gets a guy who does the Silicon, I could have saved him a few quid.

Same as, thought a single bathroom would be an overkill.

I think Silicon is a major importance to the look of a job, drives me nuts when you see a great job then siliconed badly. I don't care if it takes me longer with my profile tools and spray etc, I don't charge extra, I will do it just so the job looks as good as it can.

The silicon is the equivalent of a nice pair of rims on a car, or nice windows in a house. Get it wrong and it makes the whole job look bad.

A few times in the past I've tiled a bathroom and left the plumber to Silicon the bath, only to find he slaps it all over
