Self levelling advice.

If I was pouring a self leveller then I'd work it using my pin rake to get some flatness on it, you get amtico fitters who can trowel slc with amazing results but no good for us tilers as our tiles won't bend. You should check out phill hob sons method of using slc, quite simply, your left with a 100% perfect floor to tile to. I will try to find a link

please mate, would be handy that. What kind of rake do I buy. Daft question probs lol
 
I use the refina one, simply pour the slc then set the pins to the required depth and work it around the room. This method will improve the flatness of most floors but if you want perfect results then look at previous link
 
Bought my spike roller from Dave @ tradetiler.
If you get a good slc then you shouldn't have to work it much..
