Rubi Grinder.

Orderd the above 110v at the CTD trade show a fortnight ago, got a call yesterday telling me there isnt any betwen here & Spain only 240v.

So I am looking for a new grinder, leaning towards the Makita one at Tradetiler with the case.

What are the rest of you guys using and what would you recomend? I have been using Dewalt for about 9yrs I think was happy with it but fancy a change.

Also recomends for cordlees, looking to upgrade my 4yr old bosch one leaning towards Dewalt as I have plenty of batteries, tried a Panasonic and new Bosch one liked both.

Makita for me, got 3, 2 x 240v and 1 x 110v all great.

Can't really compare what I use and have always used, as I haven't used any other make before....

I've got 2 Makita's both 110v, one is a variable speed the other just a 50 quid job, both brilliant. I had a 240v before them and it got used every day and lasted 3 and a half years, that's a good investment for £50!

I use a Dewalt.. really nice and light and comfortable to handle with one hand.. 🙂

I use a makita grinder myself, and a makita cordless drill etc too.
Also i'm in the process of buying a makita variable speed polisher.
I'v been using makita tools for 23 years and never had one let me down.
My current 110v grinder looks done and i have a replacement sitting ready but it immortal i think,lol.
Any of the above top named machines will do though.

Makita 18v grinder with a marcrist blade, part of my 18v lithium ion range of tools. Got rid of my dewalt 5 piece 18v a few years back as i wasnt happy with the battery life.

i use Makita,did have a dewalt,bought the Makita for a change when the dewalt died (all other tools are makita),didnt like the makita at first.no probs with it apart from the screw guard adjust (dewalt had a flick guard ).like the makita but loved the dewalt.the only dewalt tool i liked....
