:yikes: RED ALERT weather warning up here in Scotland with gusts of wind reaching 165mph in Cairngorms...not a lot moving on the way home from work tonight but car nearly got hit by part of a traffic light this morning...hows the weather affected you/WHAT ABOUT THE WIND TURBINE IN AYRSHIRE that couldnt cope with the wind and went on fire :yikes:

Bad here early on brian, malin head off donegal recorded 95mph this morning , trees down ,, bridges closed. Put you off your feet.

First day off in nearly 6 weeks and the radio is saying not to venture out lol.
Everywhere I went was shut!

this was on my way to work near Ambleside yesterday, masses of water on the road as windermere couldn't cope with it all running off surrounding hills.

this freakish weather always seems to coincide with the day before we go to Center parcs....2 years ago we had all the floods in Cumbria, last year I got stuck in the snow on my way back from working in Scotland, and this year floods again!! Next time I'm gonna book for middle of summer and maybe we'll get some soaring high temperatures!!
