recommendations SLC to garage floor - TilersForums.com

been asked to SLC a garage floor for a builder and then in will be paint.
any recommendations on what's a good SLC for this job ?

I think as long as you use a spiked roller to get all the air bubbles out it will dry out smooth.
I usually use setcrete from local wickes.

Ardex recommend K15, not cheap.

Many years have passed ...
I used quick slc the CERCOL.
Does not exist a white slc ?.
Because, with the white background, it is enough to paint 2 times.
Dark background .....
I made yellow Ferrari, on a gray background.
3 coats of paint.

I think Rocatex xl500 is suitable. I'll ring them tomorrow mate

I've put F Ball stopgap 800 down in a few shops before where it's just been painted. Would check the spec with regards to suitability on a garage floor though.

Have you got any flooring outlets near you Julian?
My first choice would be Ardex K15 as you have said or depending on whats available to you you could use Istarmac Ultra Floor Levell It Top or Mapei Ultratop
