I've been in the industry since leaving school..I will do all joinery,plumbing,electrical work,plastering and tiling...and my mate Rob will move the boiler and do the gaswork....no problems...The first job is to remove kitchen floor and replace...it has been damp and was evidence of these bad boys present.
Wood-Boring Weevils
Several species of weevil, all beetles in the family Curculionidae, are wood borers. The most common species in the UK are Euophryum confine and Pentarthrum huttoni, which have the typical "weevil" appearance of a long snout and short legs, on which they walk with a rather loping gait. They are not a primary cause of timber decay because they will attack only wood that is damp and partially decayed .
