any decent companies or any tips from anyone around the age of 26 for getting cheap car insurance? cant seem to get mine down no matter what I do I am getting quotes for well over £1,000 for a 1.0 corsa it is ridiculous!

Putting another named driver on the policy can sometimes bring your premium down mate.

1 years mate no convictions at all.

Yeh Geoff that's what i have now but they only cover for 8,000 miles and i do more than that over 12 months

wot about ur postcode. dodgy area, parked on the street, can be expensive.

I talk to people by me and they seem to pay a fraction of what i am. I swear there must be something on my name it is crazy!

I been with same broker for 25 yrs, but it still comes down to age , area, points, no claims etc. Tried using one of your parents as main driver and you as named driver?

Don't commit fraud at the expense of reducing your premium by claiming others are main drivers etc. Insurance companies will do anything to get out of paying, including interviewing main drivers, speaking to neighbours etc etc
