I'd agree. You can actually utilize the tiles a bit better as the smallest of corner of a tile can come in handy. Though a slither in a tile the normal way is useless.

Setting out is key here. You can still use a guage staff if you're clever with it. Though don't be afraid to dry lay a row along the width and length of the floor in the middle and adjust it to sort of try and centralise it, and work out your key cuts around doors and whatnot too at this stage. It can pay off spending extra setting out time, if you end up with not a single tiny triangle somewhere it looks really impressive.

The more sizes of tile you have the less waste there seems to be. Also with stone you do have a chance sometimes to cut offcuts down to size to fit smaller sizes .....if that makes sense

doing that now i love the 4 way tiles as you can use any bits and cut to size luvs it
