Newly tiled hallway but gaps all around the edges

Would still grout it could be solid floor,if the tiles are cut tight looks better than Silicon.
And leave it more prone to failure. It is a movement joint designed to allow movement. Grouting would restrain it and potentially cause tiles to pop.

Hey, we all do things slightly differently in all different parts of the country where standards / prices no doubt will be up and down but one things for sure, we are all very passionate way we do it so cheers to all of you crazy tilers! ;-)

Ok.....on a similar vein.

Do you remove toilet/sink in a basic bathroom floor job. We all know it's a better job if you can, but how many of use do plumbing as well.
I know I don't as I hate pipes and plumbing......but, I'm not covered by my insurance if it does go belly up and floods downstairs or whatever.

cut around both.........and leave few mm gap and then silicon.

There, I said it now.

Used to cut around but now remove, If done right, you can't tell the difference unless you look round the back of loo / sink.
