Hi Guys,
My old vax has "bit the dust" !! no pun intented !:santa_cheesy:
I have been looking around for a good replacement....and see the Henry as a possible ...
Any help here would be appreciated....before I part with my hard earned cash !
Anyone use the screwfix hoovers ? are they any good ?

Thanks
Silver

We used to use our Wet Vacs as dry vacs because they were dual purpose but we found they always seemed to cause problems when we switched them . So I went out and bought a Henry with 20 Spare bags on offer from a builders merchants here in the Midlands called Selco. It was about £87 + VAT at the time and since then I have bought another they are OK for dust clean up and vaccing grout joints etc. My only worry is if they are durable enough to be slung around by my lot?

I think for the money you can't knock them.

Kev

I bought a Henry when I started out - it is well worth the money for what we need it to do. As Kev says, got mine for about £80 with spare bags.

Loads of commercial cleaners use them if that is any further recommendation
Chris

Apparently if you use a henry bagless, it'll suck up anything... Including water. Of course, i take no responsibility for anyone using their Henry in this way. Nor i doubt, do the Tilersforums... 😀

Thanks guys,
Really appreciate your comments........looks like a Henry is
on the crads for me then.
Will shop round now for the best deal,
Thanks again
Silver

henry, with a washable cloth bag,had it about 5 years now and still going strong.apparently the newer models of henry have dual motor speed

henry for me too, but i don't bother with the bags, gets more suck without them. Just give filter a good shake after every couple of uses!

j edgar no pun intended.........dam!!!

Have a Bosch GAS25 wet and dry with power take off. Keeps the dust down when using power tools inside. Bigger than a Henry, so no good if you have a small van!

I`ve had 2 henrys & swear by them , as said previous if you don`t use a bag ( I don`t ) they will pick up anything ( if it fits up the nozzle its gone ), but I don`t recommend using it for water for obvious reasons.

Merry christmas & a busy new year to all,
Richy C.:santa_cheesy:
