C cornish_crofter Jan 30, 2009 #20 I do both. When I'm cutting a load that I think are going to be the same size I measure up for tiles at each end of a run above the skirting then cut a couple. If they both fit all the way along, I just go back to the cutter set it up and cut the rest.
