same drill with 3 batteries going on ebay at around £140...whys it got an orange battery ??? its usually green on most models

I have the 14.4 volt version. Nice and light for repetative work like boarding out. Batteries charge in about 20mins, though for lots of work you tend to need them!

I have the makita drill/driver & Impact driver kit that came out a couple of years ago.

That came with 3 batteries............albeit the crappy 1.3ah one's............they never lasted long, and now none will hold there charge for any length of time.

So now I need to replace said batteries with stronger 2.6 or 3ah. Trouble I have is that I have the makita autofeed driver as well that uses the same batteries.........:icon9:


Anyone know of a good site for batteries
