I used the 'Topps Specials' for a while. They got a proper thrashing and worked a treat for me on a budget.

Karl Dahm / Marshalltown now though.... 🙂

Benson- thin bed / solid bed for most walls/
Rubi & Karl Dahm - u notched & also Karl Dahm Special trowels for floors & some walls

I have a brand new benson thin bed solid bed trowel for sale for £11 posted.
I purchased 2 in error, north east tiling training sell these for approx £15 then + postage.
I also have a karl dahm midi and karkl dahm maxi I am also selling cheap, also brand new.
There is only one of each.

i got a set of flowline trowels (3) from karl dahm , £28 including shipping with a free sponge thrown in and im seriously impressed with em!!!

I prefer the bensons trowels myself and choose to sell them instead of the rubi brand, just find they are stronger rivited and they do a 100% coverage one with the v shaped notch, just use this one all the time for walls and 10mm u shaped for floors

Can someone tell me how long it took for delivery from Karl Dahm. I have ordered the midi and maxi on 6th of april 2007, heard nothing yet. thanks in advance

Not too sure about the delivery time. It don't think it comes from the UK though. I'd give them a call mate. 🙂

Just for the discussion: I use Benson trowels. Spot on, and available from North East Tiling Training. Give them a call they speak very good english, maybe they are waiting for stock.
I still have a midi and a maxi trowel for sale if anyone is interested.

There you go then, some just seem to take ages to get to you maybe.

I bought a few from this web-site

The wooden handled ones are £2.00 each and they work fine for me.🙂

Thanks for replies.
:hump: From Karl Dahm had email informing me to do a Standarized European Bank Transfer in Euros, my bank tell me this is going to cost £16.00 plus about £25.49 for the Trowels. 😡 Somewhere in the paper trail my bank took £2,578.11, now waiting for my bank to confirm when the money will be returned to my account.

Will now give up on ordering abroad and stick to Trade Tiler next day delivery, better the devil you know.

The benson trowels are double posts on the handle making them easy to use in any hand, they also do a 100% coverage, v shaped 6mm notch, safest trowel to use, especially in wet areas

i bought a trowel in 1985 still have it now (bit thinner though)it has a plastic and cost me two quit
just find 1 your comfortable with i just recut my old one now and again
i have about 20 or more trowels still go back to the most comfy 1
it has done thousands of meters what a return for my £2
