just done a job for my brother, 3 days work, got an after-materials profit of £120 so thats £40 a day...

It certainly isnt a fair days money but £50 is better than nothing. it doesnt say what they expect for their money......i guess they wont be getting much.

If you have the thought that you wouldnt get out of bed for that then you must be living on your savings etc. If you havent got any savings and dont take the £50 then you will be going hungry.

As i have said before, i will do what is needed to feed myself and my family.

actually, i agree with this sentiment.

the wage of £50 a day is indeed a poor wage, but it's better than nothing, and as long as UK workers turn their nose up at a wage as low as that, (i.e choose "nothing over £50/day) then we have no right to complain about eastern europeans "taking our jobs"
