I was hoping it was something that would adjust the laser up and down.

You make a big deal out of that . I've seen it on Bosch lasers but I really don't see it as an issue , i have no problem adjusting the height of my laser in tiny amounts .

I think it’s an excellent feature. I was surprised that the Dewalt doesn’t have something similar. I used to use it a lot on my Bosch :)

I say tiny amounts, it’s maybe 100mm up and down.

What do you use to adjust yours?

I used to bang a nail/screw in the wall and attach the clamp to it.
