Always done our grinding outside. Looking now for the best grinder attachment for a vac. Need to see the blade cutting . Any ideas ?

I use one of these chinese types - there is also one that has a foot/frame a little like a hand circular saw which I hope come through on the first link as some items at the lower part of the page. I have never found a 'branded' one (be interested if anyone knows to one). They are pretty good.

I have one of these from pwm. Its stays quite clear even though the dust is been chucked up inside to the evac port. I use a cheapish nilfisk power off vac which copes well. You can see where the blade is cutting easy enough by leaning a little forward. Around £85

I use one similar not sure if its a brand if you mean like dewalt or bosch but they both to one similar. The one i use on a dewalt grinder is a dust muzzle by pwm. Very effective attached to my cheapish nilfisk.

Thanks for the links some really useful stuff. I think your PWM tool looks more substantial to be honest (versus the £15 no brand ) and I notice this Dust Free Hurricane Grinding Shroud from PWM Sales - Concrete Surface Preparation and Finishing Products. - http://www.pwm-sales.co.uk/Details_options.asp?ProductID=134 Hurracane guard.

(The brand part was more my guards are no brands so if a piece of metal or other debris hits it hard I dont really know if it will stop it)

My Dewalt brushless 125mm 18v grinder is a little more power than my Hitachi corded grinder (industrial version) and my 54v flexvolt is a lot more powerful at 1700W output. This has taken over jobs of the 9" (not all).

Large blades can be used (180mm not recommended for safety reasons but it get used like this) - 150mm discs / guard compatible. Over 4 times the power of the older 18v - batteries require a mortgage (or two).

I took the table 6 months ago, I put only the extensions.
