Are you adjusting the height of the bar to suit the thickness of the tile you're cutting?Managed to slice a 50mm haha!
After scribing about 10times
Anything below 50mm just snaps

I must admit, I haven’t had a chance to read the instructions that came with the sigma.
I did adjust the height of the bar though as it wasn’t right. Based on what looked correct. I’ve not had any issues with using the sigma though. It’s great so far. Pretty chuffed with the cutter I have to say.
To be honest, I'm not sure if my way is the right way, but I basically lower the bar to a point that when I lift the handle to engage the breaker, it sits about 1mm above the tile.. I check that its 1mm both ends and then that's my heightI must admit, I haven’t had a chance to read the instructions that came with the sigma.

So a biggish order yesterday with Protiler that arrived today...the bosch variable speed grinder, various diamond polishing disks along with a soft pad attachment for grinder, and 2mm premtool levelling system to try outWith a few goodies thrown too
I do indeed.
Just ordered that bosch grinder from them today 🙂
Already have premtool which is great btw!
Let me know how the polishing disks are(my next purchase)
P.s use the clamper/pliers
I note you use tile spacers as well as the clips. Does this mean for example you can you a 2mm clip and a 3mm spacer ?
I agree, always find it better when I use separate spacers with the leveling clips! That was my theory but untested as I’ve only ever used the smaller clips (1mm or 1.5mm) and added a spacer. Also makes it less of a problem if you have a small amount of adhesive round the clip IMO
good, 1mm is better than raimondi 3d. nobody broke for nowyes, it's tuesday....
new brand, new test.
price just below raimondi.
this brand started distribution before raimondi.
but I've never tried it.
now I'm at 7 ° / 8 ° brand that I take, but I always go back to the usual brand.

View attachment 102129 Just ordered one of these. Cordless to replace my 110v version. I found it online in one store at about half the price of anywhere else. Now to see if the order gets cancelled 🙁
