There is a section towards the back of the installation instructions book. The address of the installation and the installer details are recorded on one page with an area to stick the rating plates from the mats to it. This where you record the resistance prior and post installation. On the adjacent page you draw a layout of how and where the mats, probe etc. are placed in the rooms. Once a sparky has connected everything up and put his official stamp on the warranty page you have a 10 year warranty on the mats and 2 years on the floor probe.
Obviously, the warranty is only valid if all steps of installation have been followed correctly.
Cheers captain! The resistance has been the same throughout installation, 29/30 for the larger mat and 139 for the smaller. The floors finished now and it's all being wired up by my sparky friend next week, good job it's not the middle of winter I couldn't wait the three or four weeks to let it all dry properly before trying it out!
Just bumping some threads in the underfloor heating forum. You can now find and search for both electric underfloor heating and water underfloor heating threads. By the way, if you feel some of the threads you want to be seen at the top of the forum need to be bumped back, for the next month or so from now, feel free to do that. Although it's not usually something we allow, whilst we're going through this process of changing over forum software, we see the need for this to happen.
