Please help, I'm tired today!

Been to look at a job nearby tonight. 105 sqm onto a decent new (7 weeks) screed with water UFH throughout. Involves 4 rooms and a couple of fireplaces.
20mm Tumbled Classical Chenzira Limestone in a Classical Roman Opus pattern. There are no skirts but I'll have to trim archis.

I have not thought this through yet, as I've just walked in, but I reckon one day to clean and sort the stone, and one more day to sort the layout and avoid as many silly cuts as possible. Working alone, it's probably going to take around 7-8 days to complete? (I may take a helper on for this to speed it up)

What do you think time-wise, and what would you charge bearing in mind 105sqm. (I think the customer paid just over 3k for the stone, which seems cheap to me).

Also, is Ditra a neccessity with UFH like this? I have a feeling this is a customer who wants a "cheap" job, but I've been wrong before. UFH has been run up and down twice already.

Thanks in advance.

I would deffo be using Ditra or Dural Ci and i reckon thats quite quick for 105 m2 inc sorting, setting and laying Ditra etc

Thanks Sir, It is quick ,but as someone on here once said - I do work with my undies on the outside! (that's also not allowing for Ditra installation).
The supplier is insisting it's not necessary - great eh!?

i would try and insist on using the ditra on limestone for obvious reasons and as for pricing i would go in at around£4000 including all materials.

I think thats too cheap if you are supplying the Ditra as well I would be going in at £4500 don't forget it will want sealing as well.

4K and they supply everything for me.
However, we get laughed at trying to charge 35 for trav over here, infact a mate couldnt get a job by the m2 as the client thought he was taking the pi$$ so he did it at dayrate of 120, cheep IMHO, and was then insulted after the job as being a rip off merchant!

i quoted an almost identical job sizewise with limestone 3 days ago with a similar price and was gobsmacked to hear what they were willing to pay for it.......try cutting 4 grand in half couldnt beleive it

Thanks Kilty, that is my gut feeling with this one too.
I reckon he'll have a small fit when he sees my quote....
I think he's hoping somewhere around 2k all in.
