Help please - biggest domestic quote yet!

it was phase one of a 3 phase refit for a local property developer,all up 2 flights ,,no parking as centre of town also,,ufh in 2 of the rooms and skirts all round also,,total 100 sq metres limestone i went in at 30 sq metre was told 17 was the top budget,,ta ta :huh2:

seems the drop in site work and housing market will push lower prices....developers expecting much lower quotes and also much more tilers looking for work is a bad mix for keeping prices sensible,,suppose it depends what your willing to work for but even as a newbie im not willing to lay stone for that price.

I posted i similar thread a month ago, tiler quoted 3 grand for 100 m2 600 x 600 limestone 20 mm thick inc mats and ditra matting..

my price was labour only he was supplying mats,,wasnt just floors was full bathrooms so even more time up ladders as well,oh well:whatchutalkingabout
