Hello Again gents
So cleared up that i have the right grout
But do i grout the corners and around the base of a shower enclosure before Silicon?

The whole point of the Silicon is to allow for movement, grout will dry as hard as the tiles and allow for no movement.

I thought the idea of flexy grout was to alow for movement, i have always used the flexy then siliconed corners and around bath/shower tray, looks like i have been doing it wrong for years it has never failed though maybe just luck.

Actually so did i but the idea is that the Silicon gets into the gap, Silicon will not stick as well to grout which may still be wet. So you can teach old dogs new tricks
:lol::lol:

I tend to grout up, clean the internals whilst the grout is still soft - which gives a nice straight uniform joint, then go back the next day when everything is dry and do the Silicon. This way I find that the grout either side of the internal gets completely sealed in by the Silicon:thumbsup:

But each to their own:thumbsup:
