Mapei, leading manufacturers of adhesives, sealants and chemical products for building, have joined social networking websites, Facebook and Twitter.
Mapei are excited to use their Facebook Fan Page and Twitter profile as a new way to engage existing customers and hope to generate new partnerships through it.
Both online profiles maintain Mapei’s professional image and will be used as a platform to share information on upcoming events, the latest company and product news and highlight interesting case studies and specific projects they have been involved in.
Mapei are thrilled that their customers’ will be able to visit their online profiles as great sources of up-to-date information, and equally excited at the prospect of connecting directly with the construction industry.
As part of the new social media plan, Mapei are running exciting launch competition throughout August. Each Friday, beginning from the 3[SUP]rd [/SUP]of August and ending the 31[SUP]st[/SUP] of August, they will randomly select a ‘Follower’ from Twitter and someone who has ‘Liked’ the Mapei UK Fan Page to win a goody bag worth £10! The promotion will include ‘Likes’ and ‘Followers’ who have joined us leading up to the first Friday (3[SUP]rd[/SUP] August 2012). All winners will then be ‘Tweeted’ or have a ‘Status’ dedicated to them.
