I have a contract starting in a couple of weeks, and got a phone call today. The architect wants us to put Ditra on the walls!!! (bath and shower rooms). I went a bit nuttso, and have a meeting there on Monday. Has anyone of you ever been asked to do this? and if so what happened?

Cheers

Lynn

Hi Lynn, I have never used Ditra mat on walls, but have used the Schluter tanking membrane plenty of times.

If you watch Holmes on Homes on Sky I'm sure he puts it on walls in shower rooms
