When triangulating tiles (diagonal cuts) to accomadate the slope and fall needed for a wetroom, is it correct to snap the tiles, which look better, but leave a very thin gap for grout, or is it correct to wet saw the cuts leaving a correct larger (minimum gap required by grout manufacturer) gap for the grout?

Id probably wet cut them.
Saying that i always tray to get the customer to use mosaic for wet room floors, nice smooth fall. You can get the floor tiles cut into 40x40 by most suppliers and put on a sheet, makes a nice floor!

I have always snapped them in leisure centres when doing falls, however if it natural stone then you will be wet cutting them. I have not had any problems doing it that way to date.

I tend to wet cut them, I always think a snapped cut could havw a sharp edge:smilewinkgrin:

wet cut for me also when enveloping for same reason as Doug but the old rubbing stone is a good piece of kit.

obviously I do make sure that there are no sharp edges anywhere.
