Good stuff Doug.
I got a jigsaw blade for ceramics from Dave at TT. Only used it a few times but handy when required.
No use for Porcelain though!

Nice one, Which blade are you using in the Jisaw Doug?
I think they're bosch, certainlt the bosch bayonet fittings,I get them from longhorn hardware, about the same price as wood blades, but as davy g says, no good for porc or floor tiles, great on trav, slate etc though:thumbsup:

Nice vid. never seen jigsaw used on ceramics before. Plunge cutting would still be quicker IMO.

yeah i don't disagree, but doing it with jig saw you're not limited to squares/rectangles, but when you do squares you can get right in to the corner with jig saw,no need to trim corners out:thumbsup:

Well I think that's brilliant, Doug and to know that I'll be able to use the jigsaw at least in some cases for the complicated cuts I have in mind, fab!!! Thank you!

thank you, it was a bit of a rushed vid actually, just done last thing before packing up time, just to demonstrate that it is a feasible way of cutting, it really comes into its own on curved/circular cuts, but if your wet cutter is 3 storeys down do you really want to be running up and down stairs if you have a square to cut out?:yinyang:

Nice video doug:thumbsup:

Unfortunately far more tools than i am willing to carry.

Wet cutter and back plunge usually do the trick for me,can't see myself carrying clamps and a workmate to any job .
